The Role of the Observer
The observer does not compute reality and does not generate data.
The observer evaluates the results produced by the analog and discrete systems and selects the one that best fits the current criterion of relevance or meaning.
This act of selection actualizes one aspect of reality and eliminates the alternative.
Observation is therefore not passive — it is the mechanism through which reality becomes definite.
